Text messages from Doubles
Doubles is a scheduling tool for a private tennis group. It keeps track of who can play, who is on court and who is waiting, so that arranging a match does not take fifty messages in a group chat.
What we send
Only messages about matches you have chosen to be part of:
- A match is confirmed — when, which court, and who you are playing with.
- A place has opened because somebody dropped out, and it is yours if you want it.
- Somebody changed your answer for you, so that you are not surprised.
We never send marketing, offers, or anything to do with anyone other than your own group.
How often
A few messages a week at most, and only when something happens in a match you are part of. In a quiet week you may get none at all.
How you opted in
Membership is private and by invitation. You gave your mobile number on the sign-up page and ticked a box that said:
Text me about my Doubles matches: confirmations, open places, and changes to the time, court or line-up. Frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
The box is not ticked for you, and leaving it unticked is fine — everything works by email instead. We never buy, import or collect numbers from anywhere else.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message. That stops texts immediately and we will not send more. Reply START if you change your mind.
Stopping texts does not close your account or stop email — you will still be able to sign in and see your matches.

Your details
We store your name, email address, mobile number, playing level and the matches you have taken part in. That is what the app needs to schedule tennis, and it is all it is used for.
Your details are never sold, and never shared outside your own group. Ask and we will delete you and everything about you.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your mobile number and your agreement to receive texts are never sold and never shared with anyone for their own purposes. Full privacy policy
